Jeanie Metivier

With over two decades of experience, I am a licensed psychotherapist providing virtual counseling services to individuals, couples, and families with children in Vermont. My PhD in Clinical Psychology from Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara, CA has equipped me with a relational psychodynamic approach, as well as training in CBT, DBT, mindfulness-based interventions, and trauma-informed treatment. I am passionate about working with diverse populations and strive to create a welcoming and inclusive space for all my clients.

As a therapist, my aim is to support my clients without judgment as they navigate their personal journey towards fulfillment and emotional growth. I specialize in Autism Spectrum Disorders, Hoarding Disorder, and Personality Disorders, and have a particular interest in working with young adults. Whether you are struggling with career choices, trauma, grief, or self-esteem, I am here to listen and help you heal. My background in teaching undergraduate students has also fostered my desire to assist young people in launching their careers and achieving their goals.
