Veronica Perez-Kahl
Description
With 8+ years of clinical experience in various settings, including crisis intervention, inpatient psychiatric hospital, outpatient, Clark County School District (CCSD), and private practice, I have provided administrative and clinical supervision to enhance the knowledge base of UNLV practicum students, CSW-interns, and colleagues. My client base ranges from children (ages 5-12 y/o) to youth, adults, couples, and families, and I maintain an affirming stance for individuals who identify as members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Using a range of treatment modalities, including Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Client-Centered, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing, and others, I firmly believe in a theoretical approach that empowers my clients to take control of their therapeutic experience. I'm excited to meet and work with you.
What sets me apart from other clinicians in the Vegas valley is my innate ability to establish rapport and relate to individuals from all walks of life. My approach is rooted in compassion and empathy, and I strive to create a safe and supportive environment for my clients.
