With over 30 years of experience, I specialize in Pediatric Neuropsychological testing, particularly with children and adolescents who have complex histories and issues. My expertise includes autism, adoption-related issues, FAS, prenatal exposure to opioids and other substances, concussions, learning disabilities, and ADHD. I also work with individuals, couples, and families of all ages and my treatment approaches include psychotherapy such as CBT, insight-oriented, play, and behavior management, as well as parent training. I have experience working with clients who have various psychological issues such as anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, obsessions/compulsions, conflict resolution, and post-traumatic stress disorder, including those who have experienced emotional, physical, and sexual abuse.
As one of the few certified and trained Pediatric Neuropsychologists practicing in Maine, I work closely with local and statewide schools, physicians, psychiatrists, social agencies, and multiple service providers. I am committed to providing comprehensive assessments and individualized treatment plans to help my clients reach their goals.
