Dr. Mary Acunzo, a Ph.D. holder, has been offering neuropsychological services for children, adolescents, and adults since 1996. Her specialty is in conducting neuropsychological assessments, and she is the founder of Cape Cod Neuropsychology, a reputable institution that provides neuropsychological testing and treatment to individuals residing in the Boston area, Cape Cod & the Islands, and Southeastern Massachusetts.
Dr. Mary Acunzo holds a B.S. in Psychology from Trinity College, Hartford, CT, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Clark University, Worcester, MA. She is affectionately known as "Dr. Mary" by her clients. She has practiced at several institutions, including Harvard University Cambridge Hospital, Cape Cod Human Services, and the Thorne Clinic in Pocasset, MA.
As an authority in Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), developmental learning disabilities, and neuropsychological assessment, Dr. Mary is a regular guest speaker at Special Education Parents Advisory Council (SEPAC) meetings and other events. Additionally, she has been invited to speak at the annual ADHD Summit held in Hyannis every November. Dr. Mary also delivers popular in-service workshops for educators and has featured on both radio (Mindfields) and television (Conversations with Dr. Mary) in educational programs.
